My Prayer Intentions for the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary
Dear Father Carroll,
I know Our Mother Mary wants us to bring our prayers to her in times of great distress. That’s why I’m sending my prayer intentions by September 8th, the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, to honor Our Lady’s wish on her birthday. Please place my intentions at Mary’s Altar at the Shrine:
When we are at our greatest need, Our Blessed Mother calls us to prayer. She wants us to ask for her help.
With the Feast of Mary’s Nativity coming up on September 8th, I hope you agree that fulfilling this simple request — bringing our prayers and petitions to the Blessed Mother — will be an excellent way to honor Our Lady on her birthday. Please join your Rosary to mine as a lovely gift that will rise to heaven and call down God’s graces on our families and world.

Mary’s Shrine hasn’t been spared from the economic devastation we’re seeing across the nation stemming from the COVID-19 shutdowns and restrictions.
Even though we’ve phased into our reopening, we’re still facing significant cuts to our ability to fulfill our mission.
That’s why, if you can, I urgently need your help to carry out the Blessed Virgin’s request to bring her Miraculous Medal “to the whole world and to every person.”
And I need your help to assist the poorest of the poor in our communities through the Vincentians’ charitable works — the hungry, the sick, and the oppressed who are suffering even more during the coronavirus crisis.

In this suffering world, and in these troubled times, the Miraculous Medal and Rosary are greatly needed. Through them, and with Mary’s powerful intercession, people are healed, families are strengthened, and people are brought back to the Church and the Mass.
