My Emergency Summer Gift for Mary’s Shrine

Dear Friend in Christ,
After more than a year of COVID-related closures, fewer visitors, and fewer offerings to the Shrine, we are still struggling to recover financially.
Our ability to serve the faithful at Mary’s Shine and reach out worldwide and spread devotion to Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal has been significantly impacted. These works depend on your generosity.
And the poor and marginalized that we Vincentians provide assistance to are still suffering greatly due to the economic downturn caused by the coronavirus. They urgently need your help.
As we open our doors and hearts to provide a place for people to deepen their devotion to Mary, Our Mother, we need your support again today.
That’s why I’m praying that as a faithful friend with a special devotion to Our Blessed Mother, you will help us get through the summer months.
Summer is usually the busiest time of year at Mary’s Shrine with pilgrims and visitors from all over the world coming to pray at Our Lady’s altar. They tell us how devotion to our Blessed Mother has changed their lives!
But summer is also the time of year we typically see a decrease in donations — even without a lingering global pandemic. So right now, this summer looks to be one of our most challenging yet.
Today, I’m asking you to consider something extraordinary: an emergency summer gift of an amount equal to what you might normally send over the course of the whole summer.
If you are blessed financially to send a donation today, that would help tremendously to ensure we have the funds needed to continue serving you and our brothers and sisters in Christ.
With your help again today, we’ll continue reaching out to your struggling brothers and sisters in Christ with Our Lady’s message of hope, healing, and salvation through her Son, Jesus.
And please take a moment to send me your prayer intentions. When you do, your intentions will be placed at Mary’s Altar at the Shrine — to request her intercession and blessings on your behalf throughout the summer. Of course, no gift is ever required for you to receive our prayers. However, if you’re able to help us avoid a summer funding gap, I pray that you will.
