Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Shrine Needs You!

In these troubling times, when so many people are struggling with illness, burdened by rising prices for the things they need, and troubled by the fears of the second year of an unprovoked war in Ukraine, you — as a devotee to Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal — are blessed to have hope in your heart in difficult times.

And we, the Vincentian priests and brothers of the Eastern Province find hope from your support and prayers as we spread devotion to our blessed mother and her Miraculous Medal.

You rest in the knowledge that Our Lady is there whenever you go to her in prayer. When you need Mary’s intercession she is there with her rays of grace. Now, we need your help to bring this same peace to others.

As Vincentians, we serve the poor, the forgotten, and the unloved with Christ’s fire of love. We walk in the footsteps of Christ and aim to serve Him in everyone we encounter. Daily, we act upon the call to go forth to the edges of society and share God’s love. Like St. Vincent de Paul, we hold in our hearts a special love for the poor.

As you know, The Basilica Shrine of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal is a sacred place of devotion and prayer to Our Blessed Mother. We minister to thousands of visitors and pilgrims every year. And, as people begin to travel again, this summer promises to be one of our busiest ever and a tremendous strain on our resources.

That is why, as we open our doors and hearts to provide a place for people to deepen their devotion to Mary, Our Mother, we need your help today.

I’m praying that you — as a faithful member of Mary’s Miraculous Medal Family with a special devotion to Our Blessed Mother — will help us get through the summer months by doing something extraordinary: an emergency summer gift of an amount equal to what you might normally send over the course of the entire summer.

If you have been blessed financially and you’re able to send a single gift today, it would help to ensure that we have the funds we need to serve everyone who comes to The Basilica of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal to show their devotion and ask for Our Lady’s intercession.

OR, if you are unable to send a single gift to cover the amount you might typically give over a three-month period, please know that any gift will be put to immediate good use. Make a June donation today and, if you are able to make additional gifts later in the summer, do so in July and August.

Our ability to serve the faithful at Mary’s Shrine and reach out worldwide and spread devotion to Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal depends on your generosity — especially during the summer months when we typically see a decrease in donations.

And you will be reaching out to your brothers and sisters in Christ with Our Lady’s message of hope, healing, and salvation through her Son, Jesus.
